Did you get this idea from Facebook,,,like how you can block people from your timeline. I assume you have blocked tinman from commenting on your facebook status.

Well, it is your timeline, a crafted view for no one but you. But a thread on a message board is not actually meant for just you to read the comments you want to allow.

You want to ban people from your threads? Ignoring their posts isn't enough.

Giving people any power to ban where ppl can post is off-the-charts, weird feedback for Clutch to mull over.

If you are already ignoring the poster, why do you want to ban him/her from posting anywhere? You are essentially saying ignoring is not enough. You must be able to control where the ignored people can post.

 

We have all said some really stupid, stupid stuff on here (insert the infamous CH Harden for Love trade).

I, very often, disagree with what he is saying. But I do agree every now and then (more than the "broken clock"), so I wouldn't want him banned on a thread you created. Your gain is my loss. Who you have on the ignore list, I may want to read.

If a guy is a complete troll, we will report him, and he will get banned. Life goes on.

 

I do not know why Lars have so many issues with fellow posters but he should see a shrink
