I checked box score this morning to see...they sold 19K tickets, though I have no idea how many actually showed up. Cleveland sold 10,400 tickets yesterday. Ouch.
Luhnow ought to take Bo to task for this continued BS with hitting Lowrie. They are embarrassing themselves with their "Respect our game" BS while continually getting pummeled. Bo Porter said last night he think George Springer got hit on purpose. Mind you the A's had a 2-0 lead in the FIRST inning, the count was 0-2, and hitting Springer would load the bases. Scott Kazmir is going to hit a guy ON PURPOSE in that situation? Even if you are dumb enough to believe that, you hit the same guy you hit in Oakland in Lowrie's SECOND AB against Clemens after he doubled the 1st time around? I hate throwing at batters. Unwritten baseball rules are stupid, period. As for Bo's "Baseball takes care of itself" mantra, only 4 mgrs in MLB history w /lower win % in 185 gms than Bo Porter's .314. This franchise will be looking for its next scapegoat soon and Porter is making it easy for them.

The A's beating up on the Astros reminds me of what the Yankees and Red Sox used to do to the Rays. Eventually it will turn around, but teams in other divisions must be crying about how many games the Rangers/A's win against Houston that puts them both in the drivers seat for the playoff spots. Time for more short-sighted realignment!
I was at the game. Pretty decent crowd, actually, because it was $1 hot dog night. Probably about 15k in the seats.
