i forgot to post this after the extension press conference..but sure seems like he's making a significant effort to be more vocal and put himself out there as more of a leader than he has in the past... Have you noticed and do you think it'll last?
I think it will now the organisation has backed James with the contract extension and there's no misunderstanding like there's been in the past with the marketing of Howard and Harden as the leaders.

He did the same thing after the 2012 World Championships. He was the captain of that team and took a leadership role on that team. He took that with him to the Rockets the year they went to the WCF. This is a good sign.
unlike dwight Harden isnt hooping for the money. He wants a ring, but as Jim Boehim recently said, titles are chosen not won
Honestly, I want to see him be a better on-court leader. I'm less concerned about it off-court. So for me, it's "when does the season start".
seen this before. all the talk sounds good on media day etc. when the season actually starts that's where you really find out how much of leader someone is and how a team responds collectively
You hear it every year from every star on every team...but this isn't just media members saying "harden says he's going to be a leader"..it's the media also reporting their own observations and many are saying they've noticed the difference from past years already, in the way he's acting, not just what he says in front of the camera. Of course it's a long season..but they speculate it's because the team isn't divided with Dwight gone.
