Jerome Solomon of local sports radio personalities. The funny thing is I actually think Jerome is a decent radio personalty. Maybe they should switch jobs.
Josh Innes is the worst thing to happen to Houston Sports Radio. He's even worse than the Mighty Gwinn.
Always fun when members of the media hide behind claims of objectivity when their opinions aren't popular. There's no such thing as an "objective opinion" you blowhards.

Since I know he'll likely read this... (I heard the segment as well) I generally like listening to you, Josh. It's some of your co-horts that I'm not a fan of. Also, I realize you said you didnt have a 'problem' with clutchfans -- with that said your tone came across otherwise. You should recognize this community has a lot of 610 listeners. We help pay your paycheck.
What's sad is they keep reminding you they are the number one sports station in Houston, and to be honest it's by default because the only reason I listen to them and I bet others do, is because they are the flagship station of the Texans. This guy sucks. Everyone on that station sucks to be honest. I think the only person I like listening to on there is Shaun Bijani. They have by-far the worst lineup and radio personalities of all the stations in Houston. 790 hasn't realized that Lance doesn't fit in with Adam Wexler and Matt Jackson. It's almost horrible to listen to him try and make that morning show listenable (if that's a word) with the most boring dry personality of Adam Wexler. 1560 might have the best morning sports show with Granato and Sean but it's hard for me to listen to them because I'm still mad about the stupid changes they've made and forcing almost all the original creative sports personalities out. I wish the original 1560 line-up was back. It was awesome listening to creative home sports talk all day long at work.
I actually prefer listening to the drive on ESPN in the evenings. With that said to Josh's credit, I agree with him on their national stuff. I don't like Mike and Mike, or really any of the other shows. Although I don't dislike any of them quite as much as Jim Rome. The Herd is okay and I actually like Van Pelt, but to each his own. Also the show that I miss most was the Calvin Murphy show. He was awesome.
Wouldn't surprise me, with that said it wouldn't surprise me about a lot of people. On a personal level (I can't judge the guy, nor do I claim to) based entirely off his own stories -- he doesn't seem like the type of dude I'd want to hang out with. He can be entertaining to listen to.
When other radio personalities bolted from SR610, Innes was hired as the brash young loudmouth to play off the middle-aged corporate kiss-asses (Vandermeer, Lord). Innes will at least keep things on edge, but most of the time he's like nails on the chalkboard, which keeps you awake during Rich Lord's drones and "I couldn't disagree more"s.
I'd rate Charlie Pillow as the best radio guy in Houston. But I don't have much time to listen to it these days.
