Yeah, doesn't matter at all. If we had not played Hojbjerg (I think it was pretty obvious today that he is not quite there yet), we wouldn't have lost. I think Alonso and Boateng were simply not focused. Boateng had played great until then. Man City has absolutely no shot at winning the Champions League (now go and watch them win it all ).
And when the Bundesliga teams beat the EPL teams jsut a few weeks ago, Bundesliga was clearly superior?
By the way, Bayern is now the sports team with the most members, in any sport, in the world. More than 250,000.
Depends on how you see it. EPL and the second tier league Championship generate the most money I think worldwide. If you are talking strengthwise and success I cannot really say there is any league that is really dominating over years. German teams did really well the last 3-4 years I admit but there is always the time factor. Italy was pretty good in the 80s/90s, then Spain in the early and mid 2000s. Bayern was always dangerous, then came Dortmund, Leverkusen and Schalke 04. But if you are saying German teams are superior and all German teams lost last week you have no argument (Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Leverkusen) Success come and go and mostly teams with money go really far no matter what country they play for German National team is No. 1 right now and their players' value is at an alltime high but that is not going to stay for good
Lulz...really think Klopp has to go, he is responsible for the last transfers and Dortmundplaying the same predictable and outdated brand of football all the time. Doesn't seem to have a plan B or way to motivate the guys anymore.
Klopp is really disliked by some of his (present and past) players, and rightly so. The success really got to his and Watzke's heads. They have been acting like assholes for years now.
Assholes in what way? It's funny, when you read the English media they all LOVE Klopp. Loads of Arsenal fans want him in to replace Wenger.
You have to look up some of the statements made by Klopp and Watzke in the last two years. Took so many cheap shots at Bayern and it was so obvious they really thought they'd stay at the top for the next 10+ years. I'll maybe look up some and post em here later.
Yeah but can we talk about what really matters now? Liverpool finally won a game. Top 4, here we come!
Hoffenheim is backed by Dietmar Hopp, one of the SAP founders and billionaire. Wolfsburg is backed by Volkswagen, one of the world's largest car manufacturers. "Small" clubs?
