@WojYahooNBA: Restricted free agent guard Reggie Jackson has agreed to a five-year, $80M extension with the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell Yahoo.

Just not worth it imo. Hope you guys really appreciate Morey.

Is everyone getting a max now. He didn't even do that well with the pistons.

Presti is pretty good at draft picks.

    Durant
    RW
    Harden
    Ibaka
    Jackson

Also...I think many will flame me for this...but I think Brandon Jennings would be a good option for us if he's on the way out in Detroit.

I doubt if he has even begun to rehab yet. No need to take a risk like that even though he is an expiring contract.

I admit I have concerns about Collison too, but he did start rehab soon after surgery, so taking a gamble on him might be worth it, if the Kings do trade him.

This is like the time the Pistons got Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva except that this time it's the same money but just one not so great player.

It'd be funny if they cut him in a year or two like they did Smoove.

Am I the only one who thought he played great with the Pistons?

It's be even funnier if the Rockets sign him and he saves our asses in game six of the NBA finals and the Rockets go on to run game 7 after facing elimination.

Like Morey says: Presti found RJ and SVG paid him.

When a guy like RJ gets $80 million, you know the NBA has gone stone cold crazy. No wonder he acted liked a jerk, pulled back and forced his way out of OKC.

Maybe he will step up next season and surprise. Or maybe SVG is a complete disaster as GM.

    SVG - an enigma

    Great head coach.

    Awful GM.

That will bite Detroit in the hiney big time.

And now I'm seeing the Bucks are going to walk down the same path with Jason Kidd. Simply a recipe for disaster. None of them are Pops. Won't be able to handle both sides of the table well.

Sweet Baby Jesus 80 million for a backup point guard. Detroit should trade SVG before it's to late.
