Marble Slab doesn't make it in the Ice Cream Category?

What kind of doucher picks a wendys, burger king or mcdonalds burger over whataburger. That's like picking kelvin Cato over the dream.

I would pick Wendy's too. My ideal choice because I can get chili and a baked potato. I'm not crazy about anything else on a typical fast food burger menu.

I also like McDonald's fries the best. It inspired me to make shoestring fries at home.

The fried chicken debate has already been discussed. Popeye's FTW. I imagine Popeye's also made the bottom of the service list. It's like the DMV of fast food chains.

For grilled chicken, it's Pollo Tropical. I think it's only in Florida though. The one fast food joint I actually crave.

This list is terrible. KFC as BEST FRIED CHICKEN?! They've got it all backwards.

everyone above the mason dixon line loves KFC over popyes. it makes no sense to me either but i guess people up north can't handle the spice.

and wendys does make a very good and consistent fast food burger. they are always fresh and never frozen and made to order. i would say in-and-out, wendys and whataburger are all pretty similar in terms of quality.

I once ordered a Baconator from Wendys.

I opened the wrapper at home... took a bite... no bacon.

    How does that happen?

Ya this nullified all opinions in that column for me when I read that line. That automatically told me this doesn't apply to people down south. Wrong crowd. They might have well had a Mexican food survey in Montana.

How can they put Baskin Robbins over Marble Slab/Cold Stone etc? Baskin Robbins ice cream tastes like frozen water. Cold Stone, on the other hand, is straight from the gods.

And they were overly nice to Wendy’s. Their burgers are ok, but their fries are VERY hit-or-miss. They can either be gigantic crispy potato fries, or tiny burnt potato chips. Sometimes both in the same batch.

I agree about Subway, though. As far as fast food chains, they're tough to beat. My only complaint has been being over-priced, but since they've added the 5-dollar-footlong, I can't say anything bad about them.

I think Wendy's definitely has the best burgers of the national chains. I don't even think it's close. This excludes Whataburger and In and Out burger, which aren't national.
