Tracy McGrady is only 30,000 votes ahead of A.I.

Guards: Kobe Bryant (LAL) 1,536,556; Tracy McGrady (Hou) 1,331,511; Allen Iverson (Den) 1,300,248*; Steve Nash (Pho) 992,885; Manu Ginobili (SA) 376,185; Tony Parker (SA) 350,257; Chris Paul (NOK) 316,142; Jason Terry (Dal) 306,123; Ray Allen (Sea) 267,253; Jerry Stackhouse (Dal) 252,254.

    * The Philadelphia – Denver trade involving Allen Iverson was completed after the media panel’s deadline for selecting the ballot and therefore Iverson is listed on the ballot as a member of his prior team. For tabulation purposes, Iverson’s votes will be counted towards the Western Conference totals.

LET'S BAND TOGETHER AND GET T-MAC IN! Based on his numbers and actions this year he deserves it more!

All you have to do is:
    1. Click on www.rockets.com
    2. Click on the top banner withthe LAS VEGAS ALL-STAR GAME logo
    3. Scroll down and click on “NO THANKS, PROCEED TO ALL STAR BALLOT”
    4. Select two (2) forwards, two (2) guards and one (1) center for each conference.
    5. Be sure to check the box next to Tracy McGrady for Guard, Shane Battier for Forward and Yao Ming for Center. (Don't vote for A.I.!)
    6. Enter the validation code to submit your ballot properly and you’re done!

Remember balloting ends on January 21, 2007 at 11:59 p.m. ET, so vote everyday until January 21, 2007.

Who's with me on the "I got T-Mac's Back!" All-Star Balloting Campaign?

Does AI get to keep his votes from when he was in the East?

honestly I think it's only this close between AI and Mac because AI got a ton of votes back in the Eastern conference voting ... i I think the margin will just widen in the final tally

    It's gone from something like a 100,000-vote lead to a 50K and now it's just 30 thousand.

    VOTE!!!

if anything his constant exposure because of the trade has helped his cause and that's why he's closing in. i hope t-mac is the starter so atleast one rocket is playing, but if he continues to lead this team to victory he'll deserve a spot on the team by his own merit anyway.

im probably going to get flamed for this but oh well. The West guards should be Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash. I love McGrady and everything but the Suns are like 27-8 or something. Dude had 21 dimes last night. Another mvp-caliber season from "little stevie nash".

The statrers should be whoever the fans vote for, period. This is an event for the fans entertainment, not some kind of player validation. That's what All-NBA teams are for.

Well couldn't a Nuggets or AI fan pose as a Rocket's fan in a PM, just to get the script? And then pass it on to all of the other Nugget/AI fans?
