I happened to see Mr. Glide himself at P.F. Chang's China Bistro on Westheimer today.

I couldn't tell who he was with, but it didn't look like any of the Rockets.

Just thought some of you might want to know.

Don't know. He was several tables away from where I was sitting.

It looked like he was pretty much done eating, just shooting the $hit with whoever he was with.

Last Friday I saw Moses Malone at a highschool basketball game, and got to talk with him. He was pretty damn cool. He was talking to me about how good Jon Lucas was and how he never took a bad shot.

Yea moses was really cool. He was hanging out with Chris Morris, former jazz player for those who dont know, whose son plays for my school. Speaking of Van Chancellor, he was sitting in my seats one game and I had to kick him out of them. I thought it was pretty damn funny. I also met Rashard Lewis at a car wash this summer. He's got a nice navigator.

I have run into two players that played for the Rockets in my lifetime:

The first, it wasn't actually a run in but I saw Calvin Murphy at a Pappas seafood restraunt a few years ago. He was with a large group of people who I assumed to be family.

The other was actually a run in with Clyde. This was a long time ago, maybe 8 years when he was playing with Portland. This was during the offseason and I had heard that he lived somewhere around the neigborhood I lived in(there are some very large houses near my neighborhood). In all honesty one day we were sitting outside and Clyde came riding around on a bicycle. He came right by my house and a friend of mine who was with me got his autograph. That was pretty cool...just imagine a famous player riding down your street on a bike.

Another story I'm not sure about happened with Calvin and my father. He says that one day he and some co-workers were driving in downtown and saw Calvin walking down the road and asked him if he wanted a ride...he replied with no. I have always wondered if he was telling the truth, and I cant get it out of him.

Since we're on the topic of "who I saw" I'll give my story.

at Fonde rec. center this summer, I saw cuttino, steve, nick van exel, othella harrington, shandon anderson, bo outlaw. and others. Moses malone was there too, and so was master P. I didn't realize it was moses, and asked him to take a pic of me and Master P. at THAT moment, i realize i had just asked a great one to take a picture of me and a rapper.
