I had 7th pick in a 12 man Standard, it's looking like QB - Ryan (6) Rothelesberger (14) WR - C. Johnson (1) Julio Jones (2) C. Patterson (7) T. Austin 11 TE - Vernon Davis (5) H. Miller (16) Rb - Gerhart (3) Sankey (4) D. Williams (8) J. Grimes (10) Blount (12) A. Williams (13) D- Panthers Any tips, this is my first time in a pay league with the homies, and it's $100 to win $1000. Any super helpful tips will might lead to future donations to the tip jar!
There are a lot better receivers probably not even picked that you could have gotten, all better than the ones you have: Allen Hurn Jarrett Boykin Andrew Hawkins John Brown Robert Woods Doug Baldwin Mohamad Sanu
10 team league with standard scoring other than 6 points per passing td. Anyways, to my amazing roster: QB: Brady and Newton RB: Charles, Foster, Bush, Gerhart, Rice, and Pierce WR: Green, Patterson, Torrey Smith, and Watkins TE: Gronk and Rudolph K: Walsh Def: Browns It helped that someone took Russell Wilson in the 2nd and Defenses started to be drafted in the 3rd.
ten team league, .5 ppr qb: p.manning + kaepernick rb: alfred morris, leveon bell, rashad jennings, gerhart, woodhead' wr: harvin, torrey smith, terrance williams te: gronk, ertz dst: patriots k: bryant
Awesome WRs, very other position you are not looking so good. You may try to trade one of your WRs at some point to get an upgrade at WR or QB. Or those two might be able to carry you by themselves. Hopefully Gerhart and Sankey step up for you.
Not sure how I feel about this. Bye weeks are gonna be a b****. (H2H scoring) QB: Matt Ryan RB: Jamaal Charles, Demarco Murray WR: Randall Cobb, Victor Cruz TE: Jimmy Graham FLEX: Torrey Smith D/ST: Broncos K: Dan Bailey Bench: WR: Kendall Wright, Kelvin Benjamin, Rueben Randle RB: Toby Gerhart, Stevan Ridley, Fred Jackson QB: Russell Wilson Any moves I should make/players to be dropped?
12 team ppr (had 12th pick first round) My Draft : qb - Philip Rivers qb - Jake Locker rb - Montee Ball rb - Giovanti Bernard rb - Pierre Thomas rb - Roy Helu, Jr rb - Latavius Murray wr - Wes Welker wr - Brandin Cooks wr - Justin Hunter wr - Markus Wheaton wr - Andrew Hawkins wr - Mohamed Sanu wr - John Brown (ari) wr - Allen Hurns wr - Robert Woods te - Jimmy Graham te - Jordan Cameron d - SanFran k - Mcmanus
To be fair, the 9th pick is probably my least favorite out of a ten man draft. QB: Stafford (49, rd 5) WR: A.J. Green (12, rd 2) WR: Keenan Allen (32, rd 4) WR: Terrance Williams (69, rd 7) RB: Ryan Mathews (29, rd 3) RB: Joique Bell (52, rd 6) TE: Jimmy Graham (9, rd 1) Flex RB/WR: Trent Richardson (92, rd 10) DEF: STL (132, rd 14) K: Crosby (149, rd 15) IDP: Kuechly IDP: Watt IDP: Chandler Jones IDP: Cameron Wake Bench: Ray Rice (72, rd 8) Russell Wilson (89, rd 9) Riley Cooper (109, rd 11) Danny Woodhead (129, rd 13) Anquan Boldin (169, rd 17) Tyler Eifert (autopick) I really didn't want to take Ryan Mathews but there were no running backs left other than him & CJ Spiller. I hate the 9th pick. Would of rather had the 10th, taken Dez & Bernard & gotten a TE later like Davis or Witten, whatever.
How many teams was this? Your team is amazing. Assuming you got Charles near the top of the first round I have no clue how you also got Graham and Demarco Murray. Having Gerhart on the bench is a nice luxury. Wright should be decent and Benjamin is a nice flier to have as a rookie WR. Since I don't know who is a free agent in your league I can't really tell you who to drop. I'm not a big fan of Ridley in that Patriots offense but he's probably worth a roster spot. All of your guys are worth roster spots but I'm not too big of a fan of the end of your bench. They could pan out but I just think there is limited upside. I don't see Fred Jackson becoming a dominant RB but he brings value as a fill-in WR with a high floor.
You desperately need receivers. You do have 2 top RBs and a good one in Pierre Thomas. Graham and Cameron is kind of a waste because I like Cameron. Hopefully Welker pans out for you. But receiver should be a fairly replaceable position over the course of the season so you should be able to find somebody if you are alert on the waiver wire. I see you do have some lottery tickets in there that could pan out but I would not feel comfortable starting any of them right away.
Yeah, when I came into the draft, I was looking to get Keenan Allen in the first pick of the 3rd round and Jimmy Graham wasn't even on my radar. All of the sudden, Jimmy Graham fell to me with the 12th pick (literally every team after the first 6 picks took wrs), so I took two guys that I wanted in Montee Ball and Graham. In round 2 it was more of the same, like 9 of the 12 picks took a wr (including kenan allen and gio bernand fell to me). The only real studs in round 3 left were vjacks and garcon. In the 4th and 5th round, I took Pierre Thomas and Cameron because I knew that there weren't any more rbs that I felt comfortable with by round 6, so very few teams have any quality depth at rb, and my thinking on Cameron was to pull off the board the last remaining stud te which means that only a few guys have a descent te option. I then decided to go for my high upside recievers and i trusted my research and my draft board to make good choices.
We have 9 teams, and people got a little too eager in the early rounds drafting QBs and receivers. I hope Ryan can produce though.
8 team league: 4th pick 1. (4) Adrian Peterson RB 2. (13) Julio Jones WR 3. (20) Giovani Bernard RB 4. (29) Zac Stacy RB 5. (36) Vincent Jackson WR 6. (45) Michael Floyd WR 7. (52) Shane Vereen RB 8. (61) Nick Foles QB 9. (68) Mike Wallace WR 10. (77) Emmanuel Sanders WR 11. (84) Robert Griffin III QB 12. (93) Kendall Wright WR 13. (100) Greg Olsen TE 14. (109) Kansas City DEF 15. (116) Dan Bailey K Wasn't too happy about this draft. I really hate the 4th pick this year. Best QBs kept going before my next pick so I waited all the way until Foles.
first of three drafts. 10 man League. QB passing TDs are valued at 6pts instead of 4. I was drafting at 10. QB - D Brees WR - V Jackson WR - R White WR - E Decker RB - L Bell RB - R Jennings TE - J Graham DEF - Seattle K - B Walsh BN - S Vereen (RB-NE) BN - J Bell (RB-DET) BN - S Ridley (RB-NE) BN - J Hunter (WR-TEN) BN - L Green (TE-SD) BN - A Blue (RB-HOU)
You have 4 RB1's and almost 5 WR1's. Flip some of them for a more reliable QB. Go after Luck/Ryan/Stafford/Brady so you won't have to pay an arm and a leg.
Had the 2nd overall pick in a 10 team league with deep rosters, standard scoring - except 6 PTs per QB passing TD. QB- Drew Brees (3) RB- LeShaun McCoy (1) RB- Andre Ellington (4) WR/RB- Rashad Jennings (7) WR- Demaryius Thomas (2) WR- Michael Floyd (6) WR- Terrance Williams (8) WR/TE- Riley Cooper (9) TE- Greg Olsen (11) D/ST - 49ers (14) K - Blair Walsh (16) BE - Toby Gerhart (5) BE - Philip Rivers (12) BE - Brandin Cooks (10) BE - Carlos Hyde (13) BE - Tim Wright (15)
why would he do that? those players aren't that much better than RG3/Foles fantasy wise; not worth giving up that massive depth at RB/WR. He is fine at QB IMO.
