He was being asked a question and gave a sympathetic answer for both Royce and team. He did not issue any statements. I think someone might be a little hypersensitive as well.

    My message to Royce,
Then take a unpaid leave of absence or retire, then come back when you think you can handle the big leagues, maybe then you might find out what it's like in the real world for 1000's of other folks with similar mental issues who have to earn a living whilst scheduling their own health management timetables around their work hours & everyday lifestyles.

You are acting like a spoiled brat, get a reality check and come back to earth.

If he doesn't allow himself to be helped however, there is nothing anyone can do. That is the major problem here i think.

His view of the world may be too egocentric right now but him to see his need to listen rather than... talk.

    For this tweet:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Per @<a href="https://twitter.com/bull50">bull50</a>, Rockets have "set up mental health appointments for Royce every single day since he's been here" and he hasn't been to one yet.</p>&mdash; ClutchFans.net (@clutchfans) <a href="https://twitter.com/clutchfans/status/268566894292918274" data-datetime="2012-11-14T04:11:51+00:00">November 14, 2012</a></blockquote><script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
It wasn't something Bullard "tweeted" -- he said it on television tonight. Edit -- here is the full interview, via CSN Houston.

He said Royce could become a wasted draft pick. The person you quoted didn't say les threw him under the bus. He said the rockets organization has made strong comments about royce's absence.

Its a mental illness so of course he would be acting like this, unless youre someone who has this condition we dont really know how mind works and perceives things,im not gunna judge him and say he is a diva or whatever. He is sick so this happens.

Too me he needs alot of help on his condition if he wants to play,so maybe its to early for him to get back to ball, if anything he needs to either take time off and work with his personal doctor or the Rockets let his doctor come in and work with him everyday while he is in the D-League till he is mentally fit to be with the team.

I like this guy as a person and as a basketball player he can really grow with this team if he takes the right strides.

Missing four straight free throws in game 1 of the finals, that would've sealed victory for your team on your own home court, then getting swept can do that.

If Bull is right that doctor appointments have been set up for him and he hasn't gone to a single one, then the organization should have reacted way way way long ago. This should not have been allowed to continue and that would be in fact a major screwup by the organization.

I'm not going to argue semantics with you but Les was addressing a question not giving a statement. He gave no indication if the relationship would work or not, only that it would be sad if it didn't. And of course it would turn into a wasted pick if that happened.

They should suspend him period, when he's ready to stop being such a puss he can come back. Throwing the organization under the bus constantly is a cowardly move and this guy clearly thinks his talent exceeds his actual value.

If the Rockets are holding their end of the bargain by attempting to encourage and deal with his illness he needs to hold up his end and actually attempt to work towards a solution or at least a status quo that will work for him.

This is really sad... He could have been a hope for those with anxiety disorders and other mental illness, and he actually got an opportunity with physical size and talent to boot.. not showing effort seeking treatment is making it worse.. He is starting to look like a cry-baby rather than a fighter..
