Bad news guys...the NBA is cracking down and only allowing tv sites to post 2 minutes of video interviews. Kiss the days of 14 minutes of lockerroom interviews goodbye.

The NFL and MLB also have similar policies, but this is the first year the NBA has started this. Sorry.

dont think he meant it in a ghetto way, he said he's pushing him to play and work harder. though he made a comparison on how thats how things use to be on his block.

Yao arrives at practice at 3pm
Artest arrives at 3:30..artest gets mad

    second day...team practice @ 5pm

    Artest arrives at 2pm
Yao arrives at 3pm...yao gets mad

    third day...team practice @ 5pm

    Yao arrives at 1pm....
Artest arrives at 2pm.....artest gets madder

...lol, they keep trying to out do each other, until neither one gets any sleep

Boo!! on the NBA rules for interviewing players. The NBA should provide the BroadBand games to be a pay service like MLB instead of having to buy League Pass.

As for Ron, I am glad to hear Yao is making him push harder to get better. These two guys just have an awesome work ethic and I hope it rubs off on the rest of the team.

As I mentioned, the NBA is just following what the other leagues have done. The NFL was the worst. At first they were only allowing :45 seconds and the video had to be taken down in 24 hours. The NBA and MLB are allowing the video to stay up for 72 hours. One exception is if a player comes into our studio for an interview...we can run as much of it as we would like to. But getting a professional sports player to come into a studio is another story.

The ultimate goal for the leagues is that you use their team or league sites for all of your information. I've never agreed with this because I felt other sites supplemented what they do, giving them free promotion.

That said, they could very well shut everything down so be grateful for what they are allowing.

Well, hopefully the revamped Rockets.com gives us plenty of behind the scenes coverage. They have a tough act to follow, though.
