How is this so calm in the pocket in only his 3rd career start? And he has a rocket arm.

    He could be our future.

If he's a first round pick, I'll give you my wife.

Really? if he's stupid enough to declare for the draft, he'd "fall" to us as an undrafted FA.

if he declares, he's probably a mid round pick.

if he wins the national championship today, why would he go back? he might not even be a starter next year. he should ride the hot streak into the pros.

He'd go back because he wants a chance to be drafted by an NFL team. If he declares now, there's no chance of that happening at all.

Because he's got a lot to prove before NFL teams spend a high draft pick on him. He wouldn't be sniffing any substantial money if he declared.

Good news is, I'll be available at pick 16. I have almost as much meaningful college quarterbacking experience as Cardale Jones.

    CAN'T MISS!

Rick Smith is plotting to trade our 16th overall pick + JJ Watt for Cardale Jones.

What are you talking about? To get a truly elite redshirt freshman with a whole 3 starts in his college career you'd have to give up all of your draft picks and your whole team!!!

He's tall, he has a strong arm, and he's mobile. Is Savage really a better prospect than Jones?

that would be dumb. He would be 25 years old when he is eligible to play for UH. He should come out after this game.

No he isn't. Savage will be working in construction in about a year or two.

If Cardale Jones declares for the NFL after 3 starts in college, his status as a window licker will be confirmed.
