    No, they didn't really. Implicit in most prospect comparisons is a sort of worst case/best case scenario. Everyone just uses the "best case" as a way of saying what a player "could" be.

    Thus Rio Ruiz can be Eric Chavez, and so forth.

    For a guy who reads so much, I thought you'd know this.

    Never understood how stimulants could help you focus at the plate, but it obviously worked for many, many great players.

    The Astros' #4 slot carried a value of $213,000.

    Now that it's been traded to the Orioles, the Astros now have $1,901,000 remaining in their bonus pool, less the bonuses for Fernandez, Duarte, and Tejada.
