    Eh I mean that's probably a pretty fair thing to say.

    Shaq and Dwight both #1 center in the NBA in their respective eras

    Shaq = 4x NBA champion
    Dwight = ??

    Obviously the guy who helped carry (at the very least to an extent) you to 3 championships is gonna be more appreciated after playing with a guy who you got eliminated in the first round with.

    However you take the comment it proves how moronic Kobe is.

    He didn't appreciate Shaq until 2012? Then he's dumb.

    What's next... I never appreciated Phil until Byron? I never appreciated Colorado until the legalized mar1juana?

    Shaq is a top ten player of all time, Dwight isn't.

    Its a fairly dumb thing to say. Dwight had no problem taking the Magic to the finals and he is awesome here.

    Sorry Kobe, you are old and irrelevant, and you couldn't get it done without completely stacked teams. He needs to shut his mouth and fade away.

    I remember when Phil jackson commented that Jordan was better than Kobe and obviously it didn't sit well with Kobe so he went on a mini twitter tirade. Kobe is an immature dude that holds trivial grudges for no reason. In a way that might be the reason why he was so good for so long but at this point he just comes off like an idiot.

    Dwight was playing with no back and one shoulder when he was in LA and still he gets no credit for playing when he shouldn't have been playing.

    the ignorance isn't in his dissing of dwight - it's his dismissal of how great shaq was.

    I hated the boring beast that shaq was, but boy was dominant. Period. Kobe never understood that.

    Yeah, it's more of a shot at Shaq. It's pathetic that he didn't realize how great of a player he was playing with. I know how we all feel about Scottie here, but he would never say something absurd like "I never appreciated Jordan until Rasheed Wallace."

    It's absurd and disgraceful.

    yeah i've never really cared much for the opinion of Kobe, he's a knob. He played one-year with Dwight and Dwight was injured, he's washed up and he has to resort to cheap shots. Yawn
