    I think the info is coming from the paid accounts which have names on CC.

    What's with trusting Hackers to not have altered the db that they purport to be real. "Oh, trust us, this is the real database that we stole. We didn't alter it at all."

    At the end of the day, who cares about ppl having accounts at Ashley Madison or any other date site. If they give their date money for sex, that's solicitation of prostitution, and I'm sure the Vice Squad already has stings using false Ashley Madison accounts.

    what is this: "In the name of fidelity, we must hack this database and show the world who is an infidel." No, the hacked it for money. First to sell credit cards, and then to sell names to Gossip columns, and again, assuming they didn't add names to fetch more money from National Inquirer.

    Anyone who has even entered their email address to browse the site is on the list. Might not have your real name but your email address will flag as compromised if you search it.

    It's the paid subs that are getting them. You can join for free and use a burner email but when you wanna upgrade they want a legit CC with real name and all.

    nah, this isn't news to me, and I'm rather annoyed that it even could be news (as I explained). This is not The Fappening. That's different. That's good use of hacker skilz. The thrill of the many outweigh the embarrassment of the rich and famous few.

    This...this isn't exciting or thrilling or unravels truths to benefit the masses.

    This is about stealing credit cards.

    Many here regard it as the best Sci-Fi TV show ever. Me included. (Search for best sci-fi here for posters' takes.) The picture I posted of Mr Universe is from the movie later called Serenity. You should watch the series first, before the movie, though.

    Dammit, now I just turned on Serenity, yet again. I'll be up for another 2 hours, I guess.
