He has stretches of good D in the playoffs, which is good for sure. But he's not normally a defensive player.

Wtf, the thunder screwed him. Held his rights til all the money dried up, signed his replacement from overseas and then threw him out there when only minimum is left available. Bad business on okc part. Waiters can be very good given proper circumstances, can he be Wade, no but he's shown flashes in which he has looked like a viable starter in this league. On this one year prove it deal, I expect him to play well enough that next summer he's telling Riley "**** you, pay me"

Couldn't he have gotten offers even if the Thunder owned his rights?

That OKC team was loaded and there wasn't much needed of his services. But he is definitely something better than Eric Gordon...

True but I think he felt the thunder would bring him back. I guess he could've sought out an offer sheet. I'd rather have Gordon but if we'd missed out on Gordon, I would've like to see Waiters off the bench for us

Harden is better. They play very similar stylistically but Harden is a better shooter and is better at drawing contact. Wade is a better finisher and defender. Harden is one of the most underrated and underappreciated players in the league

Just to be clear, you're saying Harden is better than Wade at this stage of their careers, right?

When the going gets tough Wade, bum aching knees and all, turns into Jordan in big games. Back in 2006, he was the Flash. Harden seems to split his big games with awesome/average to really flat out trash in those situations very often.

Funny you make that reference, bc Dion Waiters is basically JR Smith, without all the dumbassery.

    Jr smith can actually shoot.

Waiters has had one season over 40% shooting from the field. He's garage at shooting the rock.

    Dudes overrate.

I'm shocked he got such a low contract but that's what happens when your a locker room ? Mark and don't have the skills to back it up.

Don Riley played his mindtricks on Dion. In this new cap 2.9 is a steal.

Pretty much, a JR Smith with a bit better defense and worse shooting.

Lies, he had 2 out of 5 seasons above .400. He's 40% at reaching 40%.

You are saying Dion Waiters is better than Eric Gordon? I gotta hear an explanation. Is this like a health thing for you or what?

If you'd like pieces of evidence for your argument, start here:

Edit: damn, I took the bait. I forget that Liberon is a perma-rookie and a troll.
