That crossed my mind. We began last season losing to a game winning 3 and ended it the same exact way.

    Same score 99-98.

Last time Houston played Portland for a home opener on TNT. Portland won on a buzzer beater 3 from well beyond the arc. The city is cursed. Those of you who watched summer league, who didn't expect the half court buzzer beater 3 to swing momentum in the championship game. I actually called that, just like I called the Blake 3 earlier this year.

The NBA: Where soap operas happen. I don't care who we play first or last or anywhere inbetween. I just want to see the Rockets shut up the critics and make serious noise in the playoffs. And I know this team is capable of doing that. Parsons aside, my lifelong hate for Dallas aside, I'll enjoy beating the Spurs way more than the Mavs this year, because the Spurs are champions and the Mavs are scum-suckers bankrolled by one of the biggest (if not the foremost) douchebags alive today. I hope we grind both teams into the ground and reestablish ourselves as the best team in Texas.

I doubt the Spurs would care. It's one out of 82 games.

He's made two against us, one last season and one in the season opening game in '10-'11:

I would hate to open at the Mavs

I'm not comfortable going in there right away -- would like to see how it all comes together first.

So we need a 3 game home stand against DAL, LAL and NOP.

Cleveland probably went from no televised games, to, like, all of them.

    Agree with everyone here.

    Spurs should start at home.
Cavs should start at home as well against another big draw team.... OKC? LAC? Or stay within the conference and have them start against the Bulls.

Man why is everyone forgetting Cavs/Heat as a matchup? I'm dying to see how Heat fans react to Lebron in a cavs jersey.

Geez... I can't believe so many people want to watch a sappy home coming in Cleveland.

Might as well just watch this... (Warning turn down your audio or cover your ears!)
