Harris won't sign extension 1. He's currently shooting 45% at the 3 point line in the pre-season 2. His defensive RAPM last year was better than Terrence Jones' 3. He's a better FT shooter than Jones, making 80.7% last year 4. Between 10 and 16 ft he shot 42% last year versus Jones' 39% He'd be another undersized 4 but maybe it could be a buy low scenario?
Good young player. If he'd sign a reasonable contract, I'd be all for working out a trade. I'm sure if it makes sense, Morey is already all over it.

The Nike thing is very insignificant at this point. Orlando controls him for at least the next 2 years (1 contract year plus a qualifying offer), and I doubt his endorsement deal is worth much.
Imagine if you are a GM for those 3 teams. Your job is certainly easier since sponsors gives incentives to players to sign for your team.
Why? He's a RESTRICTED free agent next summer. The Magic could just match any offer he gets from one of those teams. I doubt Harris takes his $3.4M qualifying offer over the large, multi-year deal he'll undoubtedly get from Orlando (or elsewhere).
He is a good player but he wouldn't have a spot on the team with Ariza here. I would like to see him with the LAL. Mr. Bean needs as much help as possible over there.
Love this kid talent. He hasn't put it all together, but when he's clicking he has all star potential.
