The Struggle of Being A Texans Fan

    This map from a Business Insider article graphically shows the reality I lived with since the days of the Oilers. In this state, the Texans are merely an footnote to professional football in this state:

    Here is the key takeaway from the article:

    The Cowboys dominate Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, and much of Nevada. In Texas, only the counties immediately surrounding Houston root for the Texans.

    I have lived through five decades of this - first with the Oilers and now with the Texans so you can excuse my crankiness these days especially with the Cows lucking out yet AGAIN.
