Rockets 2005-06 Schedule for MS Outlook

    For the last few years, I've been creating an electronic version of the Rockets' regular season schedule so friends and I can import it into Outlook/PDAs and always have it handy. I posted this here last year, and since Rockets.com still hasn't posted it (AFAIK), here it is...

    Since we can't upload files to this bbs, copy all of the text below and save as a file with the .CSV extension to your favorite folder on your PC (example "Rockets.csv"). In Outlook, choose File|Import and Export. Select Import from another program or file and choose Comma Separated Values (Windows) as the file type. Click 'Browse' and select the CSV file you saved earlier. Click 'Next' and select your calendar folder. Click 'Finish' to begin importing the calendar. Enjoy!

    edit: i cant seem to name it correctly

    the extension stays at csv but its still a text file

    'rockets.csv.txt'

    i remove the txt and i get the same thing...

    maybe someone can upload the '.csv' file?

    nevermind...i renamed it in dos

    When saving it, put it in quotes, since the default is a text file.
    ("rockets.csv" instead of rockets.csv )

    Unfortunately, there isn't an easy way. They haven't built that feature for Entourage yet. You can get Export-Import Entourage 1.38 from scriptbuilder.net for $20, but you have to format your .csv files correctly to get them to import - not necessarily an easy task.

    Bummer.

    You should be able to import it to Outlook then use ActiveSync to syncronize to your PDA...
