The 2012-2013 team was fun to watch. Now with Howard and Harden averaging a combined 18 free throws a game it gets tedious. Add in Hack a Howard in about a dozen games and you almost want to watch something else. 2013-2014 Howard 20+ FTA = 4 times. Harden 20+ FTA = 2 times. Howard 10+ FTA = 26 times. Harden 10+ FTA = 32 times. H&H Total 20+ FTA = 6 times. H&H Total 10+ FTA = 58 times. 2012-2013 Harden 20+ FTA = 1 time. Harden 10+ FTA = 42 times. Asik 10+ FTA = 3 times. H&A Total 20+ FTA = 1 time. H&A Total 10+ FTA = 45 times. Why else are we not playing on Christmas Day this season? Oh wait... Jeremy Lin was on the team the last 2 seasons.
TLDR The games are really fun are you kidding me? I love watching harden dribble across half court than pull up for 3 and splash it on everybody... LOVE IT!
I'm surprised they are even bothering to televise any games(locally or nationally) now that Lin is gone.

None of those games were fun for you to watch? Why? Were you rooting for the Rockets to lose? Do you realize two of the highest usage rates of Olajuwon's career were the two championship season? Likewise the two championship seasons were the highest FGA per game of his career. Olajuwon didn't handle or shoot the ball less in the championship years. Instead he had the ball and shot it more. During the championship years Olajuwon's usage rate was 29.8 and 31.7. The last two years Harden's usage has been 29.0 and 27.8. The last two seasons Harden has taken 17.1 and 16.5 shots per game compared to 21.2 and 21.5 shots per game for Olajuwon in the two championship years. Did you think that Olajuwon dominated the ball too? Do you also dislike Durant who shoots even more FT (9.9) than Harden(9.1)? How about Blake Griffin (8.4)? Kevin Love (8.2)? Lebron (7.6)? Scorers have always gotten points at the FT line. How did you feel about the Dream Team? After all they were led by Michael Jordan who lived at the FT line. Harden's FT attempts pale in comparison some of Jordan's seasons where he averaged 11.9 and 10.5 FT attempts per game. It must not be that many people that hate Harden since his jersey was the 10th best seller last season. Other than the Olajuwon teams, which Rockets teams did you find fun to watch?
My sarcasm meter is broken... I mentioned the Christmas Day game because more non basketball fans would be watching than on normal regular season games. Most of the Rockets national TV games will be against top teams like SAS, OKC, LAC, CLE, GSW, MEM and POR or against teams with national fan bases like LAL and NYK. However there are a few games against bottom tier teams like MIN, SAC and DEN.
lol Lakersground banned many LOF's and even locked a thread dedicated to Lin. Maybe that is why they are returning.
He also gets 6 assists per game so obviously this is a black hole player if I ever saw one. Watch the games, son!
I love watching my beloved Rockets play. Harden hero-ball frustrates me at times, especially when he is clearly forcing the issue, but I still love watching him and Howard and co play the game.

Harden to Howard for ALLEY OOP! Jeremy Lin seems to be a bit bored here, but I don't think many Rockets fans were. I could watch them do this 30 times a game and never get tired of it.

If you don't like the Rockets games, I'm not sure what you're hoping to see. Of course more wins would be nice, but 50+in the West is nothing to sneeze at. With all their defensive shortcomings last year, the drive and kick game seems to be both asthetically pleasing and sure to rack up a high win total with the team as currently constructed. Plus, Dwight is good for a couple of alley oop finishes and Harden usually has multiple wow plays every night. I do tend to think their offense will see a dip this year, but I believe their potential improvement on the other side could prove to be more than enough to compensate. If not in the regular season, surely in the playoffs.

Don't know about Lin. But Diaw was certainly bored. Bet he was thinking: meh, Rockets games are not fun...
