I suppose we are past saying the PS3 is picking up steam. It's starting to seriously challenge the 360 month in and month out. I'm also surprised that the PS3 version of MW2 was that close in sales to the 360 version, which many say is the system of choice because of multiplayer and Live. While Live is still handsdown THE multiplayer platform, Sony's PSN seems to be doing well in it's own right. The rest of the game sales don't really surprise me. Except perhaps the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed II not making the list. Interesting nonetheless.
Holy crap @ Nintendo sales. Those Wii numbers are mind blowing, and New Mario Bros sold more than Modern Warfare combined on both platforms. That's nuts.
Wii at $199 is just killing the competition. Although I wouldn't consider the Wii direct competition to the PS360. I think it's safe to say that the Wii has the casual market cornered, hands down. Don't see Natal or Sony Wand changing this.
