I was a little concerned when McCain chose Palin as a running mate, but in general I don't understand being concerned about candidates' health. I believe people should consider whatever they think is important -- no matter how poor the taste -- but age and health doesn't concern me. If she dies, the VP steps in and business goes on. If the VP is as incompetent as Palin would have been, that's unfortunate but also our government structure is robust enough to cover for incompetent presidents. Presidents have cabinets and advisors and agencies, plus Congress and the Supreme Court all to make sure things stay afloat. Even Trump wouldn't crater the government. So, I'm not concerned about untimely deaths.

 

Robust enough to cost government shutdowns over petty squabbles too.

I agree she should pick a VP who has credibility to step into the presidency right away. But yeah, it won't factor into my voting provided she doesn't pick a complete moron. I certainly wouldn't be voting for the likes of Trump or Cruz to avoid the potential of a young Julian Castro being thrust into the presidency.

I would vote for a vegetable over Trump, so yes, Hillary is qualified no matter what mental state you think she is in.

 

Trump wont cater the government anymore than Bernies extreme socialistic plans will get passed.

What Trump will do is force foreign countries and governments to look down in disgust at America. If another country elected a candidate like Trump, I would strongly suspect the general mindset of the country in itself.
