Will it be an advantage to Houston Rockets if the ball is switched back to the leather ball? Will Yao and McGrady play better?

Since we know the antidote if tmac struggles again. That is Deke's elbow. We can use tennis balls instead, no problem. :D.

Seriously, I guess that would help Novak to be back in his 24/30 threepoint %.

It would cut down on Yao's turnovers.

I have a feeling TMAC will get better but Yao will struggle for a couple of games.

I don't think it will cut down on Yao's turnovers. The leather ball is more slippery. The composite ball is so sticky that it is causing cuts on hands from repeated handling and friction.

I think this will lead to increased playing time for Eddie Griffin, who knows how to handle leather balls.

I've never felt a broken in NBA leather ball but a new one feels slippery, but I felt the new ball and I like it a lot. It's just not worth 129.99 or 99.99. Heck even with coupons it's hard to justify the 65 bucks.

Initially it is, but a lot of players have been complaining that it doesn't absorb moisture as well as the leather ball so later in the game it slides more.

New ball looks great with Rockets so far. With the way they play defense, new ball will definitely cause a lot of opportunities ...

I see us having an advantage here.

With the inside out game, our shooters should be draining wide open J's like machines.

And I suspect upon Tracy's return his jumper will be much more consistent.

We have so many good perimeter shooters...I like it.

    Poor cows.....Rock on Dr.Naismith!
