    here's one

Jerry Harrison screwed up the Violent Femmes, and he went to the same school as Jerry Lin.

    Add it up

    sobriety sabotaged aerosmith.

i blame paul more than yoko for their demise, although i am not a fan of hers at all. and really it was on john...if he didnt want yoko hanging around in the studio and being in beatles photo shoots then she would not have been. he brought a bed into the recording studio so that she could lay in it all day while they were working...pretty f***ing ridiculous.

i never got all the worship bestowed upon her. her art sucks and her "music" is even worse. she is a joke. lennon being murdered was the best thing that could have happened to her - she got all that $$$ and pitty/fame, which she is still capitalizing on 35 years later. if lennon had lived, he probably would have dumped her for someone less fugly.

i agree that the wall sucks, but imo gilmour was the one who ruined floyd.

Did Harrison screw up "add it up" on their debut album or the later collection?

    Please explain.

From what I've read Roger was the control freak in the band and gave them the choice of either the Wall or Pro's and Con's of Hitchhiking to do in 78. And Roger's the one who made Rick Wright only a paid touring member of the band for the Wall tour, since RW wouldn't come back from his family vacation in Greece to do more over dubs on the Wall.

Mike Love sabotaged the Beach Boys. Brian Wilson was going on to do some unprecedented things with Pet Sounds and the aborted Smile album, breaking the Beach Boys free of that "surf rock" stuff that Brian never liked but was forced on him by the record labels.

Mike Love always gave Brian crap for trying to grow musically with the "don't eff with the formula" nonsense, then bought the rights to the Beach Boys name and started working the casino circuit by himself and Uncle Jessie, turning the name into a lousy nostalgia act.

I really think it was more Chris than Rich with this final nail in the bands coffin. Chris demanding the bands long time drummer be reduced to a touring member and not a founding one, like he rightfully is in the bands history. It's CR's way of not doing a 25yr tour of music he cannot stand to play any longer, forcing his brother Rich and Steve Gorman's hand in the matter. Honestly I would rather see the CRB now days then the Crowes without Marc Ford and Eddie Harsch, which would never happen again. The band from 92-10 gave me some of my very best concerts experiences and they taught me more about what great live music really is than anyone else. RIP The Black Crowes.
