Yes, Canaan was allowed to run the offense and ran it very well, IIRC, Harden played more "off the ball" (and was still very effective) when Canaan started then at any point during the season.

    FIFY

This hurts. I dont get coach's infatuation with Beverley. He was frustrating to watch in the ATL game. Can't pick and pop. Can't drive past the defender. Can't post entry pass. Can't jumpstart an offense w/o Harden. All while ATL clamped down on us in the 4th.

I get it, Beverley is fearless (declining) on defense. But when ATL was clamping down on us, we could use someone like Canaan who can be fearless on offense with his fluid jumpshot.

JUMPSHOT. Not set shot, like Ariza has to be, Terry has to be, Beverley has to be.

How did Canaan do defending the OKC point guard?

Westbrook cannot be guarded by one person with the way he's been playing. Takes an entire team.

    morey is an idiot.

This is certainly the last straw for me. I'm not even mad, I'm officially indifferent to morey. He's officially a moron in my estimations.

When it comes to evaluating PG's he's garbage, pay jeremy lin that contract and blunder great PG's AB/Lowry/Dragic and now another in Canaan.

There is no way AB couldn't not still help this team, along with Canaan. This nauseates me.

I knew this come back to bite us in the a$$ again.

    Lowry/Dragic/AB 4.0

    31 points, enough said.

Defense by way of offense, makes the opposing PG have to expend energy on the defensive end.

How does anyone do when it comes to guarding high calibre point guards... Lol...

Morey and McHale gave up on this kid too early. Damn shame.

until you see KJ and canaan play consistently for atleast a full season or two, nobody really knows who won in this trade, especially with KJ being a rookie.

Ish Smith was the Sixer checking RW.

We'll probably go after Ish in free agency again this summer.

I didn't see the game, but if you score 31 and your opponent scores 49, that's not good. Plus....it is just one game. Kelvin Cato had a triple double in the preseason once. Before discussing how bad it was that the Rockets gave up on Canaan, perhaps he ought to do more than have one great offensive game.

Is Canaan the new Jeremy Lin?

Canaan has a bad game - "Wait... he'll be awesome soon."
