We definitely lost this one by stamina.

Lin looks okay, he just has not been closing to 100% yet.

Harden is terribly tired tonight!!

If our back court back-ups can't help out in the future ... it will cost us so many kind of failures!! STAMINA!!! We need those STAMINA from our TRIO : HardLin and Asik.

I can't wait Greg Smith to come back...
I can't wait Livingston to come back...
I can't wait someone to be waived...

But whatever... this is a practicing season...
and Toney Douglas is not great but just a good guy. :(

At least he showed how to properly play defense against a PG. Think it was contagious too.

We have maybe too many one side of the ball players. Douglas, Asik, Patterson, Parsons. We need more all-around players...

That was just some flashy moments. He got the flash legs.

Just like last year when Linsanity happened, Lin played lock-down D on D-Will.

I think he should never be on the floor without Lin or Harden, but if he can play lockdown defense, Rockets can use him like a poor man's Iman Shumpert. Shump can't shoot or run the offense either.

Good Point. He improved a lil bit tonite but hey ... tat's still helpless.

Iman Shumpert >>> TD (on Defensive end)

    Yes, Shump is way better.

I hope they try some different lineups and have just Lin or Harden running the offense while the other rests. They're dynamic out there together, but it's not like either one is incapable without the other.

But the playbook seems almost empty, so it takes time.

I would call Parsons pretty good all-around, no?

Agree with Coban. I think ideal would be 24 minutes together, and then 12 minutes each with the other on the bench. That keeps one or the other on the court at all times and limits them to 36 minutes each, which is the about the right amount to avoid burnout. That is, if you want to win games. If you want to give people experience and/or evaluate them, go ahead and sit them both or just do whatever.

Back to TD, though his PG defense was outstanding. 4 steals and gave up few open shots/bad gambles. He is smaller than Lin and has fewer responsibilities on offense, so I like seeing him chase around small PG's like he did today. Don't mind the 1-6 much if he plays great D. Remember that defense is just as important as offense, sometimes even more important.

He's a nice guy but damn, poor bball iq. I was disgusted when he settled for a pull up jumper inside the key when he had a direct path to the basket for a simple layup...like seriously?!

It's just too bad. If he had either better vision or a more consistent shot, he would be immensely more valuable.

ease up man....the whole team is showing obvious improvement...come the end of season, he may come out as a totally new player and rockets as a new team...this team has a great chemistry and momentum, and the more time goes by the more improved everybody will be...
