Working Thanksgiving and was wondering if there was a place I could go to get a nice tasty turkey and possibly ham for my co-workers. Anyone know of a place? Preferably in south east or south west area. Thanks in advance!

Honey Baked store sells turkey and ham for Thanksgiving. They have locations all over Houston.

I'd probably just stick with HEB/Randall's/Kroger unless you are willing to spend a lot of money. I don't know about your part of town, but here are some options:

    • Honey Baked Ham--probably the cheapest option but still decent
    • Kenny and Ziggy's
    • Revival Market--butcher shop authenticity
    • Mardi Gras Grille--Cajun fried turkey
    • BB's--more Cajun turkey
    • Berryhill--turkey tamales
    • Mockingbird Bistro
    • Pizzitola's--smoked turkey

This is probably your best and most convenient bet. They're turkey breast is AMAZING.

At my last job they had a smoked turkey catered from Papa's BBQ, and it wasn't bad at all.

Try Telephone Road after sundown, unless of course, you mean a good cooked turkey, and not getting your turkey cooked real good.

I also assume he was joking. From my limited research they're $40.

For our office we get the fried ones from Rajin Cajun. Pay the ten bucks to have it sliced
