Their average margin of victory is 18pts. The closest win has been 9 points with rest being 14+. If they have injuries it could change things, but if they don't I think 70+ wins is possible.

70+ actually looks possible. I wonder if they'll try. It will be kinda sad if they start resting people and don't even give it a shot.

I doubt that happens. If they are close then they will go for it.

I think if they are healthy they have a shot .... but in the poll I voted no. The NBA season is so long and injuries happen. They avoided them last season , hard to see a team not losing a key player for a long stretch in back to back seasons.

I do think they will be the #1 seed again ....and that they win at least 63.

There have been only 19 teams to win 64 or more games since 1968. Only one team did so between 61-66 when they played 80 games and 67 when they played 81.

70+ has only been done once.

Only two teams have won 69 games.

Two have won 68 , one of those , the 1967' 76ers did that in an 81 game schedule with the league adding the 82nd game the following season. Prior to that season the record for wins was 62.

Five teams have won 67 games , including last years GSW squad.

    Four teams have won 66.

    Three won 65.

    Three won 64.

    Eight won 63.

    Fifteen have won 62.

Only Jordan's Bulls were able to reach the 67 win mark more than once (doing it three times 92 , 96 & 97).
Last season was fairly historic .... You really cant expect them to repeat that performance. To me , the starting point for a "great team" is 63. Anything above that is in the top 25 seasons all time.

These players have pride and would want to go in the history books as the greatest team of all time.

If they are something like 50-5, you bet they are going to go for it.

It's surprising that you can ask the question and not get blasted for being dumb.

This Warriors team is very very good. I can definitely see them being in that 70 win range.

Probably. I've been watching basketball since early-mid 80s... This is the best team I've ever seen. Barring injury to Stephen Curry

Their first 7 games were all against West conference teams. They have a looot of East left. It's doable, they're insanely great.

Definately. The west conference is not that good.

I voted no, but if this poll had been 70+ then I would have voted yes. I actually think they will get 70, which is the first time I've thought that since watching basketball.

Winning 73 games would shut haters like me up for sure. I'd actually respect them more for taking all the doubters and harnessing that energy into beating everyone.

That being said, it'll be a perfect season if they win 73 games and gets eliminated by Houston in 7 in the WCF.

    I'd say at least 85.

I actually did the foolish thing and voted yes.

And that's not as a newbie fan or something.

I just think the Warriors have so much up their sleeves.

They can obviously go small like they did in the finals. If a opponent perimeter gets hot they can play Iguodala who I think is the best perimeter defender in the NBA. They're not even starting Bogut right now preferring to give time to Ezeli. Jason Thompson can hardly get on the court, but he would be at lest 2nd big off the bench on most teams and could start for some. And even Brandon Rush, who is a good shooter, can be a good situational player and likewise he can hardly get off the bench.

I just think they have so many combinations, they can win offensively, defensively, with pace and even in a slow it down game. They can win with depth, or they can have the best 8 man rotation if they want to tighten it.

Injuries is probably the only thing that can stop them. And as long as Curry doesn't miss more than 5-8 games, and no two perimeter player or two frontcourt players miss time concurrently, I think they have enough depth to cover.

Good teams never get injured. Ever.

They have a good enough squad to do it in a vacuum, but the West is really competitive this year and they are bound to have some injuries this year so I voted no

Really depends on how they react to their first loss(es)
