I think Florida State is more complete than Auburn.

Though I have no idea what is up with the SEC defense this year. From my Aggies crappy defense to the SEC 'ship game looking like a Big 12 'ship game...defense has been looking nonexistent.

Auburn's defense (mainly the secondary) is just too bad to make them the favorite. If Florida State doesn't play nervous, they will score nearly every time they have the ball and blow Auburn out.

But you have to play the game and I bet it's a close win by FSU.

    Well...

They said we would get blown out by A&M, it was trendy to pick a Georgia upset, Bama was supposed to kill us, and Auburn's luck would run out against Mizzou, and every week our "gimmick" offense would get exposed...

Not saying Auburn will win...but I have faith. I guess we'll find out...

This is what happens when SEC defenses face spread offenses. LSU's defense is the only one that seems designed to stop spread teams - the rest tend to struggle. It just gets lost because no SEC teams had good spread offenses until recently.

    It's also the Bowden Bowl.

Bobby coached at FSU, while his son Tommy coached at Auburn in the 1990's.

The real "Bowden Bowl" was FSU-Clemson back in the late '90s/early '00s when Tommy was HC for the Tigers.

I will take Auburn; they just seem to win. Remember, they beat Alabama and several other ranked teams. If they can control the clock and keep FS off the field, they got a chance.

Auburn rolls. One of the best and most innovative college offenses I've seen in a long time. Winston will keep it competitive, but ultimately 37-27 -- something like that.

Auburn has been tested, FSU hasn't. Could be closer than we think.
