Hopefully they can keep up the pace at tomorrow's high altitude game

I'm expecting a loss due to the quick turnaround and high altitude(plus the Nuggets wanting revenge for Sunday night). I'll gladly eat crow though.

This is probably a loss. Huge home court advantage for Denver, second night of back to back, probably still no Dwight/Beverley. It's okay though we probably only need to win 1 more game to clinch 4th seed (maybe 2 but I doubt Portland wins out).

In fact McHale should seriously consider resting Harden and Parsons for this game.

I believe that Dwight will play and we we will win.

In my opinion, it is getting more and more critical to protect the starters from injuries because time to recover until playoffs also gets shorter. Therefore, I'm pretty sure that McHale will rest the starters as much as he can. It may not look exactly like that because two of the present starters are actually bench players.

In any case, it is looking very good for the Rockets. The Laker game was not really in focus from the end of 3rd quarter onwards, because it was clearly difficult to keep up the motivation, but the Rockets are in very good shape.

He should also rest Jones. First it was the hip then last night the cramp.

Lawson is still out, but like OremLK I feel a loss coming.

Mile high is always a tough place to play. I could see this going either way especially going in on the 2nd night of a b2b.

Decisions in terms of rest will also come into play. Definitely a somewhat unpredictable game.

The decision to rest players could have huge consequences should the Rockets end up in the finals. People will reflect that the Rockets could have had hca against either the Pacers or the Heat only if they didn't rest their best players towards the end of the regular season.

It is worth considering. Obviously the Rockets aren't exactly favorites to reach the Finals, but it's also not crazy to think they'd wind up there given the potential for upsets in the early rounds in the Western Conference Playoffs. They only need to tie Miami recordwise to get home court over them and they're currently a game back.

They could, but I honestly think that the Rockets aren't counting on a Finals match up at this moment as opposed to just GETTING to the Finals.

And let's not forget that the Pacers are already resting players and Miami will be resting their players soon too.

    Rest + health = #1

    My thoughts exactly.
