Possibly apropos of nothing, but Daryl Morey just followed Tyson Chandler on Twitter. I went through Morey's list and, as far as I can tell, he does not follow ANY players who not either current or former Rockets. Make of it what you will...

well chandler could have been considered a former rocket if you want to consider that trade that fell through last season with the bobcats

His injury history is very Rocket-like.

I think Morey followed Bosh briefly during free agency.

He won't get a deal that is less than what he was getting paid before.

I think Morey would also follow Nene and MGasol if they had twitter accounts.

Speaking of twitter, why don't we all Rockets/CF fans follow each other. Maybe if we all retweeted the same demands, we could finally get that superstar. Hehe Follow me on twitter and i'll follow back. @marcoTHIRB

I'm with you. I sure would hate to have a starting center this year. Let's keep running Hayes, Thabeet and Jordan Hill out there. Those guys are rebounding ball hawking fools!

    Wha..

I know Chandler looks good in a Rocket's uniform, considering whom we played at center last year...But Tyson is as injured as an injured injured injurged...I'd go all in for Gasol and then maybe Nene'...I would love to keep Hayes as well as one of those guys, but that dsn't look two good rt. now.

I think DeAndre going to get a 5 year $40mil contract. Would you sign Chandler for 8mil?

I always liked Chandler because of his heart, dude plays what he has 100% of the time.

I just don´t like paying so much for a good Center, but Morey has to pay if not he will be left behind.

Another thing that I like, remember who was CP3 throwing alley-oops all day long in NO once upon time?

Nice temporary fit until we trade for D12 muhahah

I don´t read too much into that twitter following thing.

I see what Morey is trying to do.

He already has Dwight's best friend on our team in Lee. Now he is trying to get CP3's best friend on the team.

If you can't get the best player available, get their best friends!

    :p

I'm pretty sure Morey follows our players. He might have unfollowed them during the lockout for legal reasons. Last year he would routinely "mention" (ie include them in his tweet) our players that had a good game in his tweets.

This. When the lockout started all management had to unfollow players. If they were caught conversing in any way the team would be hit with fines and lass of draft picks. They also were not allowed to poke on facebook.
