Nah, he said he didn't need the ball. McHale also called him the most consistent player.

but but but... DOFs insist we gotta keep feeding him the ball, when even HE admits that's not the best offensive option?

Click bait title is click bait....McHale said that Dwight told him he didn't need the ball because he missed so many games and was out of rhythm offensively.

i still call bs. he is declining and not what he used to be, but he can still be a solid 3rd option and can do better than what he's shown. if this is true than he just doenst wanna go through that anymore..half-hearted. if he does stay i hope he doesnt bs on defense and rebounding. otherwise rockets wont get far

McHale also said this on the second segment :

"Lot of people say throw him the ball more... but I'm like 'throw him the ball more?.' First of all, if he gets really close they foul him, and he has tough time making free throws... if he gets in a bad rut, he gets off balance and (commits) a lot of turnovers that come from throwing that ball to the low post, and you're playing the tight playoff games... it's hard to throw the guy the ball, when you're not sure what he's gonna do with it...so, that's the kind of Dwight after coaching him for couple of years"

A rare insightful comment from McHale. DOFs should realize that we're dealing with 2016 Dwight after multiple back & knee injuries who has now entered age 30, not Dwight of the Orlando days. Even when he was a Laker, signs of decline in his game was apparent.

Very rare, considering those are things I've been saying all season it's a little unsettling.

Wonder if he'll still get the max from terrible teams after playoffs are over.

not entirely true in Orlando but his Defense and leadership were better, results better

does not matter what you say because you aint an Orlando fan

Orlando fans have the right to judge

So interesting hearing mchale speak his mind about the team. Pretty much confirms what all of us have been thinking.

You're a troll. Only a troll would bring tmac into a conversation about Dwight just to derail his own thread.

McHale is only saying what we've noticed the past couple of years. his presence in the low post is starting to become cringe-worthy. I really hope he opts out and that's painful because I was a huge fan of his game and his personality.

Here we go again, typical tinmac derailing and destroying threads with garbage off-topic trolling.
