what is the consensus on taking a TE in the 2nd? I like what I have read about Henry, but seems like it generally takes a TE a couple years to start paying dividends...

Henry will have to battle the current tight ends which is not going to be that much. His reputation at Arkansas is that he hardly ever dropped passes. There was a point late in the season where he hadn't dropped a pass. I don't know if he ended the season with 0 drops but he's sure-handed. He already proved he was a good enough blocker. Even if he provides what Maxx Williams did for the Ravens last year, it'd be a plus for this team. Along with better RBs and receiving corp.

Maxx Williams provided 1 TD and less than 250 receiving yards on the season. That level of production wouldn't move the needle one iota.

Henry is on another level but TEs never come in producing at a high level right away. Besides QBs they have the most to learn because they have to know all the protections and all the routes and they're routes can come from out wide, in the slot, inline or even in the backfield.

And O'Brien's offense is one of the more complex offenses in the league.

If we can get him late in the second or the 3rd, that would be tremendous value, but I wouldn't expect much from him right away.

I really hope we get Green in FA

Big fan of someone like Bralon Addison in mid/late rounds - a lttle guy who can fly. Not a 4 down player, but the kind of guy you can pull out of the woodwork in just the right situation to exploit for a big play.

I mortgaged the future, by trading away our next two firsts, and I didn't get a great score, but I feel I got solid playmakers, addressed the offense, and picked up the best draft in franchise history:

Your score is: 7800 (GRADE: A)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 12 (N.O.): Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State (A+)
Round 1 Pick 19 (BUF): Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State (A+)
Round 3 Pick 31 (CAR): Nick Vannett, TE, Ohio State (A-)
Round 4 Pick 5 (JAX): Carl Nassib, DE, Penn State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 20: De'Runnya Wilson, WR, Mississippi State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 27: Dadi Lhomme Nicolas, OLB, Virginia Tech (B)
Round 5 Pick 29 (CAR): KJ Dillon, SS, West Virginia (B+)
    Round 6 Pick 20: Tom Hackett, P, Utah (A+)

He's re-ranked guys so no Elliott at 26 or Wentz at 30 (now #2 or so) or Shaq Lawson at 60. I end up with Lynch now.

If the Texans draft Nkemdiche after he threw Tunsil under the bus at the combine I will look like this:

Great athlete, but a complete absence of any character whatsoever. I would bet the Texans (and several other teams) have pulled him from their draft boards completely.
