Brewer by far. Dude is getting paid 8 mil a year for the next 3 years.

But I kinda wanna trade everyone but Capela and maybe DMo right now.

 

If we could trade superstars, I would get rid of Harden. His lack of defense and effort in general is killing this team. His 50 point games don't make up for his pitiful defense. If he looked like he was trying, I would understand -- but he doesn't. He looks lost. Last year he put in much more effort on the defensive end, there is no excuse.

I wouldn't trade him for nothing, or draft picks. Only in a dream scenario that kept everyone else and we got relatively equal talent in return.

 

I picked Brewer. But Lawson and Howard are up there too..

 

Trade Howard for a good backup PF and a good backup C. Make Capela and DMo starters. Trade TJones/Brewer for a competent starting caliber PG. Trade Lawson for a first rounder.

Definitely Dwight. Not because he's playing the worst, but because his contract has to be moved unless the Rockets have assurances he's gonna opt out next summer in which case they can always just let him walk. If the organization is gonna rebuild, they can't have Dwight taking up 22+ mil of capspace. Especially since that'll also hinder Capela's growth.

Aside from him, we have to find a way to dump Brewer. And T-Jones needs to be shipped out since he's a mediocre ballplayer who clearly won't be here next year anyway.

 

I want Brewer shipped out the most. His contract is for 2 more years after this one. We need to find a trash can to dump him in somewheres fast before his deal becomes a boat anchor on our cap. Of course I want Terrence gonzo but he's an expiring deal. He won't hurt our cap like Brewer will if we don't move Brewer.

 

This would be hilarious.

But also, OKC wouldn't do that.

 

This should come with a TJ/Brewer combo option.

Honestly tho, I wouldn't really lose sleep over anybody not named Harden or Capela right now.

 

Dekkar sounds cool. Like a fragrance Sam Dekker would think was too trendy.

 

I'd only consider trading Harden and his "why, Khloe? WHYYYY?!!!?" effort if it were for semi-commensurate talent. But I don't see that on the horizon.

You'd have to zero in on the team's biggest idiots, Brewer and Jones.

Corey Brewer right now is playing like C. Thomas Howell in "Soul Man" or the young Chris "No, I Really Can't Play" Rock from that episode of "Everybody Hates Chris." If you could trade him for Marvin Williams' expiring (isn't Marvin out for the year?) or something like that, at least you'd save a few years of wasted cap space. Maybe another team would do him good. It'd sure do wonders for the Rockets.

Terrence Jones has the basketball IQ of a mountain-dwelling hermit. Swear to God, you have to wonder what the hell he's (not) thinking sometimes. BOX OUT! GET THE EFFING REBOUND! FINISH THE G.D. PLAY; HAVE YOU NEVER MADE A LAYUP IN YOUR LIFE? These and other goodies I am constantly yelling at the screen. Alas, not loudly enough for him to hear.

But really, right now, outside of Capela and DMo and Harden (and Harden, as I said, if we got a star in return, and still had someone to handle [not masturbate] the basketball, I'd even consider trading)............? Fair game.
