.389% The problem is double, because that's enough losses to wreck the season, but not enough losses to get a top five pick. To creep into the top five probably requires 55-60 loses, not 50. So if the Rockets are going to suck, they need to suck harder. If they are going to turn it around, they need to turn it ####ing around, because their current win percentage is the worst of both worlds. No playoffs and no top five pick.
If you're only beating Philly by 2 and beating the Knicks in OT without Carmelo and beating the Trailblazers in OT ... you are probably worse than your record.
we have a mediocre record against mostly bad teams. wait till we start playing the good teams. our record will get worse. then morey can call it quits and get rid of some role players... we'll really bomb the last couple of months. harden and dwight will likely stop trying at some point. dont worry, things are looking up.
This team is breaking, and if they can lose to the worst team in the league right now and struggle and can win only by 2 points, i doubt we'll get 32.
Damn the Christmas day national TV game against spurs will be a massacre. Leonard will easily lock up harden and LMA/Duncan gonna wreck the paint unless Dwight /capella lineup plays extended minutes
'16 Rockets are mimicking the '13 Texans Very good seasons the previous year, then, with expectations, follow it up by folding like scrubs. Schaub killed the Texans' morale with his Pick 6's and Harden is killing the Rockets with his attitude. At least we knew Matt wasn't great, but James...... I doubted that fool's leadership 2 years ago and was blasted on this board. Didn't want to be right though. Our playoff run last season was a fraud. -We got lucky getting the 2 seed after SA lost the final game. Spurs had beaten our a** twice the previous week. -We barely beat DAL (point diff) considering everything they went through. -We lose to LAC at home without CP3 -We needed a miracle comeback to beat LAC -We go down 0-3 vs GS. Played well games 1 and 2, then get blown out at home. Great to avoid the sweep, but it wasn't a series. Maybe DMo and Bev would've made a difference, but there seems to always be supreme misfortune in Houston sports. Oh well, roll with the punches.
Pace so early in the season means nothing. After February there will be a lot of teams giving up, selling, and tanking so we can rack up more wins then. Right now pretty much everyone except 3 maybe 4 teams are still in the playoff run. I think we will finish with 41 wins as strange as it sounds now. And I don't see any possibillity of us giving up and tanking.
