posted earlier by redhotrox in the draft workout thread. I think it should be a thread of its own.

@JonRothstein Iowa State's Royce White in serious play for the Rockets at 14 and 16. Will workout for Houston next week.

I don't know how reliable the source is, but hope it happens.

14th AND 16th? Pass. I like him, but not enough to draft him twice.

Reminds me of Arian Foster in his looks and personality. I like his game, but if he doesn't develop a consistent jump shot his other skills will be marginalized in the NBA

White will play SF more than PF. He has LeBron like handles and power. It is only his off court stuff that would drop him to the teens.

I have a LeBron like hair line, doesn't mean that I'm going to get drafted!

Team needs a BIG man, someone who is 7 foot plus...not 6'7"

say the Rockets stay at #14 and #16. Zeller, Leonard, and Drummond will be all gone by then. Only 7 foot player left would be Fab Melo. I wouldnt draft Melo at 14 or 16. Morey takes the BPA.

I like this guy a lot. Tons of upside here especially at 14 or 16.

Wouldn't mind taking him at 14. This guy has nice potential.

This team needs everything. We can start by taking the best player available and White seriously might be that player at 16.

He's got excellent strength and size. Height isn't everything when you play bigger than you are. The best part of his game is that he's a fearless attacker AND he can create his own shot because he has handles thus he's also able to create open looks for others as well. We haven't had a player with his type of handles that wasn't/isn't a pg since T-mac.

I had him as a sleeper on my potential pickups. Getting him at 16 would be great.
