You ever had them hot? They're like Shipley's without the roches.

    Krispy Kreme rules, fella.

Yeah big deal. A hot generic glazed donut. Just like Shipley's, Dunkin, or whoever else opens up a donut shop. Only difference is that they are perfectly round.

Ya....I've had them hot. They're pretty good. I've never had a Shipley's with roaches though, but I can see how you'd equate the taste of a Krispy Kreme to that....

....Seeing as Shipley's is about 50 times better.

KK is not near as good as Shipleys.

Krispy Kremes are nothing more than fried sugar. Shipley's actually has dough in it.

Word, give me a chocolate covered square donut any day over that. KK is way too sugary.

I agree. KK are good donuts but not as good as Shipley's from what I remember.. Of course, it has been 11 years since I moved from Houston and had a Shipley's donut but I remember them being the bomb.

I just have to add my agreement on KK and Shipley's. KK are way too sweet.

My wife who's lived all over and used to like KK, had the good fortune to visit a Shipley's while we were in Houston, now she swears that was the best donut she ever had. Nothing can compare to that.

KK's hot are good, but still not as good as Shipley's. If you want Shipley's hot, you can first thing in the early early morning and get some hot Shipley's.

The people who rave and rave about KK's are missing out.

I live in LA now and I can't get Shipley's. But I have seen a Winchells. Anyone remember that chain?

Krispy Kreme is nothing but super market doughnuts, and we do business with Shipley's so you better not bring that KK crap around our office.

Warm Shipley's are pretty damn good. I didn't think KK was all that, but I've never had them in the morning.
