I'm guessing he'll go to Fox Sports and get paid a ton

Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith are probably the 2 dumbest people on television (all formats considered)

How much does this have to do with ESPN as a network steadily losing subscribers?

Sadly, I'm sure ESPN will just replace him with some other jackass that's willing to take either side of a debate on whatever issue is trending in sports. Such a horrible format. I can't believe it's gone on this long.

Subscribe to the Ringer. It will eventually be the same, if not better, than Grantland.

I hear ESPN offered Skip $4milllion to stay. Wonder what the Fox offer is.

Rumor is he will be working with Nick Wright at FoxSports(I will never watch that ****)

I will not miss him personally

    lmao

Skip Bayless gets 7 figures for spewing sports nonsense and tweeting. Dude has the greatest job of all time.

FOX hired former ESPN exec. Jamie Horowitz. Now he's bringing his ESPN talent to FOX.

Lol my thoughts exactly. What a dream job to have. Speak your opinion no matter how stupid it is and get paid millions to do it.

    Let the bidding war begin.

    He can name his price.

Or he can just become an intellectual

Do y'all think that ESPN paid Skip to be a troll on purpose? Then he builds such a large troll following that he attracts idiot viewers and people that just want to hate on him.

Of course he was paid to troll. It's entertainment for their target audience. No one wants to listen to two people actually go into deep analysis of sports. That's boring tv for most people.

I bet him leaving is related to his secretary winning the lottery.

there have been some guest hosts that have done a good job in his place. Ryan Clark comes to mind. I really think this might be a win-win for ESPN...a better show, more viewers, no Skip. Maybe.
