Is the Jon Barry interview "great," too?

Bias, no bias - aside from that - no. Barry isn't very good on the radio. He comes off... boring. And he focused on addressing the mad Houston fans as opposed to the LAC or GSW series.

For me the problem with Jon Barry is not bias but his generally peevish and, yes, boring broadcast disposition.

Great interview.... Van Gundy is always good.

Glad he still calls Houston home and gives fair assesments about the team.

Anyone know how to download the podcast audio? It used to be straightforward, but I think it has changed since the last time I used it.

JVG: "I don't think Harden has played very well in the playoffs"

What bias! And we're stuck with this for at least the next four games?! ;)

I shouldn't have to say it, but the Craig Ackerman interview is great as well

It wasn't bias as much as just plain silence with a few ill-timed misinterpreted moans I guess huh Jon?
He doesn't even know what he did. You can't charge an animal with murder.

    Another fantastic podcast recommendation:

Bob Voulgaris is always a great basketball interview

I totally agree, but what if he "brings it" in the Western Finals? Harden has been "tentative, hesitant, almost a bit scared throughout the playoffs. Generally he hasn't gotten the calls he usually gets. He has been mugged several times. Also, I think he realizes that it is mostly on him. Perhaps that is about to change. He had one of his best games yesterday, but is still not shooting a high percentage. If he breaks out in the Western Finals, it could be the difference.

Arrogant, cocky, fill-in-other-unflattering-adjective SOB. Believes Harden is a gimmick and the Rockets frauds. But yes, feel free to listen..

    and on the other hand-

Guy seems bright and interacts from time to time with Cuban and Morey -- but man is he smug, especially for someone who has no connection to the game. He makes millions off poker and watches basketball all day because he doesn't need a job.

    F the haters.. #ClutchCity

^ He sounds like some of the posters on cfans. I'm just glad that he's willing (and able) to discuss his educated opinion about the NBA. I find him much more interesting to listen to than the #HotTakes machines out there

Love the JVG interview as always, has been my favorite Analyst to listen to over the years now. Can do without Breen and Mark Jacksons corny one liners. "Hand down, man down" "Uh Mama, there goes that man" "BAAAANG!!! Knocks it down!!" Not looking forward to hearing that on repeat lol

But super excited JVG will be calling all of our games on ESPN and won't have to hear TNT Barkley and Shaqs 'analysis' along with the idiot jon barry. Great times.

I don't agree that Jon was complimentary of the Rockets. Perhaps he said a few things, but he constantly was "at a loss for words" and flabbergasted that we came back. The thing with Jon isn't that he talks bad about the Rockets, it's that he rarely complements us and he, his dad, and his brother all played for Houston.
