Are the Broncos going to be the 2012 Texans all over again? Great start and sputter to the finish line?

Their schedule does not look pretty from here out.

The 2012 Texans were far more convincing prior to fading late than these Broncos have been.

This performance was not all that surprising given the way the offense was looking early in the season... even their "signature" win against Green Bay is starting to look a little skeptical given their recent struggles.

I tend to almost always blame players instead of coaches.

And now it looks like Manning has a foot injury. Maybe Osweiler will get a chance and be really good. Will be interesting to watch.

I'm confused. First Kubiak had to go. Then he is doing well and undefeated, should have kept Kubiak. Big mistake. Now he lost two in a row and we're back to "Same ol' Kubiak". Good riddance. Y'all are awesome.

    Yep, I still believe that.

Or at least fired Rick Smith and done a real coaching search instead of interviewing one black dude and hiring BOB.

Would have preferred Lovie over BOB.

No way. You can't have a team quit on a coach the way they did and keep him around after 7 years. A change was needed.

I think Bill O'Brien and Romeo Crennel are better than Kubiak and Wade Phillips. Because Bill O'Brien and Romeo Crennel were able to turn things around in difficult times, and were able to be at contention for the wild card. While Kubiak and Wade couldn't do anything to save the Texans in 2013. Of course there's still plenty of football left, Bill O'Brien and the Texans could still lose 3 in a row. And our offense has to play better. But I like the way Bill O'Brien and the coaching staff were able to turn things around. I think these new Texans can take on anybody but the Patriots in the regular season and playoffs. The way the Texans are playing right now, they can beat anybody but the Patriots. The Broncos don't scare me, I think the Texans can take them.

Ofc a change was needed. Doesn't make Kubiak a bad coach.

He learned from his first gig like Belichick, Shannahan, etc. and is doing great at his next spot

He was never gonna succeed for us though after the 2013 season. Needed change of scenary and time off

Message board Fans are going to complain, especially after losses. Those same fans were probably ready to crown him coach of the year after beating the patriots. The fact is they were playing a very good team on a very hot roll right now. And the Broncos are playing their backup QB in his first year starting. Not to mention so many dropped passes in the 2nd half. They need a strong running game as bad as the Texans do.

Their struggles are purely due to the fact that they've had crappy QB play all season long. Their signature win would be against the Patriots, which is a much better win than anything the Texans had. That defense of theirs didn't show up yesterday, but when they are at full strength, not many teams will be able to have success against them. They just need slightly below avg QB play and they will give every team a run for their money.
