Duncan has the ring, Malone does not.

    It's all about RINGS

    yeah, +1.

td is THE greatest pf ever played the game. there is no "one of". a rare occasion when it comes to bball or any sports.

but cweb is still the most talented pf ever.

Lol, np with Tim Duncan... since Hakeem was identified as a CENTER.

I do have an issue when guys take David Robinson over Hakeem Olajuwon, lol for a texas all time team... I've seen some crazy fans... I then have to re-show them 95 wcf, lol.

The only argument against Duncan (One that I do not agree with) is that he had so much help that he didn't have to carry his team on his back much. That he's a right time, right place kind of guy.

I don't think you can argue with results though, not only that but anyone that watches NBA playoffs know that Duncan shows up big time and in the biggest games. Even at this age you know the guy is going to turn back the clock for the playoffs which is always terrifying for other west teams.

Duncan is def #1. I'm saying Malone over Dirk. I don't care about the one ring debate, diff times. Competition. Etc. U have to be under 20 years old if you don't agree Malone was a beast and I hated him.

So beating the big 3 with arguably one of the best players of all time and you use competition for debate? lol

A team that still wasn't at it's peak.

Overall career wise, Malone dealt with many more better players on a night to night basis. Malone beats Dirk in every single category. (Obviously not 3's)

Back in the day Pop rode the hell out of Duncan. Had multiple seasons when he played more than we play Harden.

But as time has gone on he was used less and less, which is probably exactly why he is still producing to this day.

Dirk didn't have to play a single team in their prime that year.

    Blazers - no comment
    Lakers - after their decline
    Thunder - before their peak
    Heat - before their peak

the Jazz may have swept every round with that competition

Whatever it takes to avoid having Karl Malone on top.
