No, it really doesn't. The two are mutually exclusive. You don't trade a 22 year old, potentially dynamic player for virtually nothing because you believe he MAY be injury prone.
The bump of this thread had me thinking he was hurt again. I guess it's time for a 2016: CLowney? What will he accomplish on the field?

It doesn't surprise me. There were many times during the season that Clowney, not Watt, looked like the most dominant and best player on the defense. But Watt is the one that hasn't missed a regular season or playoff game. Clowney has to stay healthy this season.
Bobby's reaction when he sees that: See, I told you guys. I mean some people don't know football so they couldn't tell, but any smart person alive knew that Clowney played great and that Khalil Mack only had one good game. I mean... (sees that Mack is rated above Clowney) LOL that source is trash. I feel like I'm talking football with two year olds. I't's not their fault they don't know anything about football.
Mack's pass rushing is what is overrated, not his run stopping. People weren't hyping Mack based on his run stopping ability, they were hyping him due to his sack total.
A few years from now Mack will be the one laughing at a 100m contract offered to him. Flat out stud and is only getting better.
I feel like a few years from now when Clowney is the age that Mack is currently he'll be considered the much better player.....even by Texans fans who prefer to talk up everyone not on the Texans. Mack is certainly good against the run and in coverage due to his speed, but I think when he fails to put up the sack totals in the future people will think that he is regressing even though he'll be playing at the same level.
