If Keuchel was matched up with Buerhle, that game might be done in under 90 minutes

3 of the 4 starters for Toronto have been abysmal. I think Dickey and Buehrle may be done. Not that the quality of pitcher ever seems to matter with us.

With Springer back, and a few of our guys due to start getting some hits, I say our offense finally gets going this series and we take 3 of 4.

This is the series the Stros finally start hitting at home.

Worst home offense in the AL, 2nd worst in MLB. Nowhere to go but up!

I'm excited for them to start hitting in some warmer weather all-around.

Valbuena's warning track shots will be HR's in June/July/August

Buehrle has more wins than any of the Astro starters... with an ERA of 5+. It is funny to think that I grew up valuing batters on homers and batting average alone and pitchers on wins and ERA. Batting average just doesn't tell enough of the story without OBP and wins... well they don't tell you too much. Felix Hernandez was always my go to when referencing this, but I just realized he is leading the league with 6 wins right now (as a side note, I hate seeing division foes do well, but he deserves a 25 win season).

It would had been great to see Singleton in this series.

He is hitting really good, and Carter and Gatis struggling, a rotation of those 3 would be ideal at this moment.

Not a huge fan of Valbuena in the 3 hole. Maybe Castro instead?

Singleton has raked at AAA before only to slump at the majors. Sure, the next time could be different.

IMO, we wont see him until there is a need and a place. And that means deciding on what to do about Carter. And much of that is up to Carter.

Wish we would have used the pieces in the Gattis trade as part of a package to get Donaldson instead.
