PPP (national): Trump 25, Cruz 21, Rubio 21, Carson 11 This was apparently released on MSNBC tonight. It was apparently conducted during the last two days, after Iowa. We still do not have the details on the poll. And of course it is just one poll. The previous PPP poll in mid-December showed Trump 34, Cruz 18, Rubio 13 and Carson 6. So this shows everyone up since then except Trump who is down 9. If this is right, all the Southern states in the SEC primary will have shifted as well. Trump is no longer any kind of a lock on anything, except perhaps New Hampshire, which may be his sweet spot. This is starting to look like a three way death march, which is not going end quickly. Things like the quality of each candidates ground game, willingness to get out and press the flesh, strong voter identification and data management, and of course campaign strategy are all going to matter, just like always. Poor Donald. This is clearly not what he signed up for.
