Happy belated thanksgiving, everyone! I didn't eat two plates this year...I didn't have any pumpkin or pecan pie because there weren't any! 2007 didn't turn out like I wanted but I'm thankful for my family, friends and my career. SP, keep your head high. You don't need to be with someone that lies to your face. you're better off without him. It will take time...allow time to heal.
Thanks everyone for the advice and well wishes. We made up. lol Its been 4 years, I cant imagine life without him and I am his world. We had a huge fight, but it was mostly misunderstanding and miscommunication. He reached out and we both acknowledged our wrongs and decided to move forward. I didn't wanna Almu everyone so I felt I had to respond.
To all the wonderful folk here on Clutchfans, After being a lurker for years before, I joined this community approx 3 years ago, and have enjoyed posting and getting into lively debates. Overall this is an excellent fan forum..not only for the Rockets, but for every thing else. At the start of next year, I may not be able to post as much, but truly want to thank Clutch and the mods for a great opportunity. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
I'm an industrial fireman as part of my job qualification. Trust me, I'm outside Mr. Clutch Your right, highly dangerous!
Happy Thanksgiving. I had to spend the first part of the day working in -2 weather. We have gotten a project on a strip mall and had the brilliant idea to get our site measurements before black Friday (and Black Thursday night). Of course the weather here in MN decides to take a one day 25 degree plunge. Getting together with family tomorrow since my aunt wasn't feeling well but got a gift from a client of some great BBQ and pecan pie I'm enjoying today.
Thanks, DD! I just had a turkey sandwich for supper, after stuffing myself with the delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings that my significant other and our college freshman (who has the week off) prepared earlier. Not sure how I found the room! While I miss the superb meals my late mother made for about 15 members of the family back in the day, it was nice eating at the dinner table at our home in Southwest Austin. The four of us had a great time and later saw The Theory of Everything at our local Drafthouse. The flick was fantastic!
