Mallet must have been pretty good in his first game to get as much support as he has in this thread. He was terrible yesterday. And if he was terrible because he was injured, they should have put one of the other QBs in the game. So many high passes. Such terrible touch and so inaccurate on the short passes. Painful to watch.
I just hope we don't have a Case Kennum again where a huge group of fans talk about how great he is only to see him cut in training camp.
Did you watch the game yesterday? It was the worst QB play of the season. I don't know how you could watch that game and say an injured Mallett is better than anything.
I couldn't disagree more. Mallet was completely horrible yesterday. No accuracy whatsoever. The OLine performed well enough in pass protection for him to get the ball off consistently, but he couldn't capitalize. He was lucky to not end up with 4+ interceptions.
