[JJ Watt] Bengals' Wallace Gilberry: "[Watt] won't score on me."

Did last week. He seems to be back to his usual self.

Sanu has been playing well for them, but he was there number one, getting all the targets.

Hopefully we get the bad red headed step child.

 

The way he said is is more like...he may score in this game, but not on me directly.

 

There's been a lot of talk about them being "back" but they did just play the Saints who are pretty terrible at pass D. There are only 8 tams in the NFL who have a lower opponent QB rating this season. Houston will be a much better test for them.

 

When is Watt going to get a rushing attempt? You know it is bound to happen. The guy is huge and has a nice burst for being how big he is.


Motion him in the backfield as a FB and give him a dive between the guard and tackle.

 

This is a good game for it, line him up as a FB and run him right at Wallace Gilberry....or fake it.

 

Pull a remember the Titans and let Gilberry get a free shot. Allow Watt to stiff arm him in to the ground and then salute him for the celebration.

I would lose it. Just like I did when he caught that fade!

 

Thought dude was a OL before opening the thread. And by "score" thought he meant he wouldn't surrender any sacks, FR-TD or Pick6s by Watt.

But dude is a defensive lineman?!?

Not wise to call out JJ. He will be thinking about ways to score. He is probably practicing strips, interceptions, and blocks. I think he will do it just to make history.

 

what everyone sees: "watt won't score on me." harmless chatter.

what watt sees: " he is worthless, a disgrace to the game. texans are not going to score. we will obliterate them."
