He is a stretch 4, just not very smart and a little soft. Blue chip prospect is worth another look, Morey loves those former #1s.
2009 DRAFT http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-draft-history/?syear=2009 By my calculation, 10 of those 30 first round picks have been Rocket assets... and Jermaine Taylor, Sergio Llull, Jon Brockman, Patrick Beverly and Chase Budinger were second round picks.
He isn't a good shooter from outside to play in the NBA (33.1 career 3p%). I'm guessing this is just a gamble on him improving his shot.
